18 April 2023 - 20 April 2023
Venue: Zoom - details to be sent to attendees
This course is run over 3 sessions (8.30am-1.00pm).
This workshop is designed for those in the role of either Engineer’s Representative or Contractor’s Representative under NZS3910 construction contracts, and those who aspire to these roles. More than a lecture, at regular intervals this workshop involves delegates working in groups on solutions to practical problems in contract administration. Delegates will gain a good understanding of the roles and responsibilities of Engineer’s Representative and Contractor’s Representative.
This workshop focuses on the processes and procedures to be followed by the Engineer’s Representative and Contractor’s Representative, and the relationship of these roles to the Engineer to Contract and other consultants. This format, previously delivered by Andrew Brickell up to his retirement in 2021, has been well received by over 600 participants from local authority, consultant, contractor and subcontracting organisations and has been IPWEA NZ’s most popular workshop.
You will leave this workshop with a good understanding of the topics covered, and comprehensive notes are provided for future reference. Please ensure you register early to avoid disappointment.
This workshop is accepted by the NZTA as part of the accreditation process for those in the role of Engineers Representative on NZTA projects.
