While on the surface the NZS 3917 document looks similar to NZS 3910, it differs where it needs to, so as to reflect the different role of a contractor in providing operations and maintenance services on existing assets, to ensure good service delivery to owners and customers, and to explain the consequent changes to the role of the Engineer, which affect risk allocation, insurance, renewals, business processes, time issues and expiry and renewal, variations and their valuation, etc.
Make sure you are better prepared for your fixed term operations and maintenance contracts, whether you work as an engineer or a contractor, by attending this interesting workshop.
Attendees have preferably already attended NZS 3910 construction contracts training workshop.
Attendees should bring along a copy of the NZS 3917: 2013 standard booklet, available in hard or digital copy from www.standards.org.nz. A limited number of copies may be available for temporary loan during the workshop.
